After touring over 100 cities in 24 countries and entering CNN's list of “Must-See” exhibitions, Art of the Brick is coming to Washington D.C. The exhibit immerses the visitor in a cheerful and colorful world. The artist used more than a million bricks, creating over 130+ works of art that can make adults and children smile and reflect.

The World's Best Known Exhibit of LEGO ® Art

The collection includes many sculptures alongside re-imagined versions of some of the world’s most famous art masterpieces, such as Michelangelo’s David, Van Gogh’s Starry Night, and Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. Among the wonders, visitors will also find a 6-metre-long reproduction of a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton, an amazing LEGO safari and two innovative, multimedia collections of LEGO photography produced alongside award-winning photographer Dean West.

Master Builder Challenge: bringing your DC-inspired vision to life — brick by brick!

Participants will create a masterpiece on a 10"x10" baseplate with the opportunity to win in 1 of 5 exciting categories & winners receive two complimentary tickets to BrickFair Fredericksburg (March 29-30), where their winning creations will be showcased!

If you are a participant:

- Remember to bring your completed masterpiece to Art of the Brick, DC between Friday March 14th and Sunday, March 16th at 5pm.

- Encourage your supporters to vote for your design!: visitors to The Art of the Brick can vote for their favorite sculptures from March 17-21st

  • Come to the Master Builder Challenge Awards Celebration event on March 21st at Art of the Brick at 6pm! —a must-attend for all participants (Participants have FREE entry and can bring a +1)

  1. Date: January 2025
  2. Opening times: Mondays & Wednesdays: 10am to 4pm (last entry hour) Thursdays & Fridays: 10am to 4.30pm Saturdays: 9am to 6pm Sundays: 9am to 5pm Closed on Tuesdays
  3. Duration: The visit will take around 60 minutes
  4. Location: 524 Rhode Island Ave NE, located within the Bryant St Center
  5. Price: Tickets starting at $20.90 for Adults and $15.90 for kids. Children under the age of 4 can visit for FREE!
  6. Age Requirements: all ages welcome. Children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
