THE EXPERIENCE

What can I expect from The Art of the Brick Immersive?

This brand new, immersive version of Nathan Sawaya's iconic LEGO® art exhibit features original collections, over 100 sculptures made from more than 1 million bricks, a LEGO® safari, moving installations, 360° projections, video mapping, and much more.

Where is the experience located?

The experience will take place at (Pavilion 10, Melbourne Showgrounds, Epsom Rd, Ascot Vale VIC 3032, Australia) Get directions

How long does the experience last?

The experience takes approximately 60 minutes but you are welcome to stay as long as you want. Melbourne Showground closes at 7pm, so for attendees at the 5:30pm session, you need to leave the venue before 6:45pm.

Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?

This experience is held indoors in an air-conditioned venue.

Is the experience accessible for deaf people?

Yes, the experience is primarily visual with informative signage throughout the venue.

Will there be strobe lights?

The experience contains strobe lights, if strobe lights affect you, please do let our staff know upon arrival.

Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?

There is no food and beverage available.

Can I take photos or record the experience?

Feel free to take photos and share them. When taking photos, please make sure not to disturb other customers. Professional equipment and tripods are not permitted.

Will I be able to pay in cash?

The online tickets can only be paid for by card. Onsite tickets and merch items can be paid only by card as well.

From which age onwards do I not need to be accompanied by an adult?

From the age of 14 onwards.

Is the show suitable for pregnant people?

The experience requires the audience to be on their feet, moving around the venue for approximately 60 minutes, however, it does not feature tension or highly physical movements. We suggest you speak to the manager on arrival to discuss any specific requirements so that they can assist.

Are prams allowed?

Yes, prams are allowed.

Is there a place where I can leave my belongings?

No, there is no place to leave belongings.

Can I purchase a ticket at the event venue?

It is recommended that you buy tickets in advance, tickets onsite will be dependent on capacity and availability.

Are refunds allowed? What is the exchange policy?

Subject to availability, changes of date and/or time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience. In such a case, please contact us indicating your ticket ID. Refunds are not allowed under any circumstances. For more information, you can refer to our T&Cs or reach out to our user support team here.

Do children under 4 have to pay for a ticket?

Children under 4 years old enter for free and you don’t need to buy a ticket for them.

Do you offer a group discount?

For groups under 60 people, you can buy your tickets directly through the main page (select the “Group Bundle” option when choosing your ticket type). For special requests or big groups, please fill out the group form.

Is there a suggested dress code for this experience?

Since the experience typically lasts around one hour we recommend comfortable shoes, there is however no dress code - whatever makes you feel comfortable to ensure that you can fully enjoy the experience!

ACCESS

Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?

It is recommended that you arrive within the time stated on your ticket, but you can arrive within the next 30 minutes. Melbourne Showground closes at 7pm, so for attendees at the 5:30pm session, you need to leave the venue before 6:45pm.

What happens if I arrive late?

If you have a Flex ticket, you have nothing to worry about, as you can visit the experience at any time during the day of your ticket. Otherwise, you will need to purchase an add-on on site to change your ticket to Flex. Please make sure to check our closing times, as we will not be able to change them.

Can I bring animals?

Animals are not currently allowed inside the exhibit.

Is it appropriate for young kids?

The Art of the Brick is a wonderful experience for all ages!

Is there an age requirement?

All ages are welcome! Children under the age of 4 can visit free of charge and minors under the age of 14 need to be accompanied by adults.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible through a different entrance.

Is there parking available?

We highly recommend using public transport to get to the exhibition, but there's parking at the Melbourne Showgrounds through Gate 5 (Langs Road). Parking on site is $20 per car.

What are the prohibited items at the experience?

Weapons, drugs, outside food, beverage or anything else that may disturb the rest of the guests.

Do you offer free tickets for carers?

Guests requiring assistance throughout this experience are entitled to apply for one free pass for their personal assistant/support worker. For this experience, simply show proof of needing a carer ticket at the entrance and the carer will be allowed in for free. No entry is allowed without documentation.
